Required Skills:

Data Strategist, Data Management Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting enterprise data current state assessment.

  2. Assessing an organization’s existing data capabilities and technologies used to support the data lifecycle.

  3. Defining, implementing, and operating data operating models, which can include data governance bodies.

  4. Elicit requirements and use cases for stakeholders.

  5. Translating business needs into long-term solutions and creating future-state blueprints illustrating the desired future-state capabilities.

  6. Deep dive into data to identify key trends & patterns.

  7. Research data and systems issues.

  8. Resolve and/or prioritize issue resolution.

  9. Proactively identify data quality problems and support solution identification.

  10. Interpret highly complex physical and logical data models.

  11. Establish and coordinate user acceptance testing and plan.

  12. Deliver end-user training.

  13. Ability to interact with client stakeholders including conducting interviews, facilitating working sessions, or leading status meetings.

  14. Participate and lead end-to-end data solutions (Requirement gathering, planning, solutioning, development execution and documentation) for Client Data Services.

  15. Work with customers to understand business challenges/requirements for expected solutions.

  16. Write complex SQL queries joining multiple data sets for analysis, be able to validate data accuracy and integrity.

  17. Develop the process and supporting artifacts to organize information management into Source to Target Mapping documents, data dictionary, data lineage, and other supporting documents.

  18. Communicate impact, challenges, roadblocks, and insights effectively and concisely to appropriate audiences and stakeholders.

  19. Tackle complex data problems with a strategic mindset and create programs for solving those problems with minimal guidance and support.

  20. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, Data Engineering, Operations, Product) to implement optimal solutions to thematic issues and to ensure smooth/seamless execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Quality, Information Systems, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:

  2. Implementing Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) tool

  3. Interpret highly complex physical and logical data models

  4. Proactively identify data quality problems and support solution identification

  5. Business requirements gathering and documenting

  6. Translating business needs into technical requirements

  7. Leading and implementing data management and data governance initiatives

  8. Data querying using SQL

  9. Identifying data quality and operational issues

  10. Identifying and measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  11. Deliver end user training and

  12. Deep diving into data using visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau

Public Compensation:

$170,185/year to $203,280/year + bonus + equity + benefits
