Oracle’s Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) focuses on project-intensive industries such as engineering and construction, aerospace and defense, utilities, oil and gas, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, automotive, financial services, communications, travel and transportation, healthcare; state, local and federal government.

The CEGBU has numerous products that support Enterprise Project Portfolio Management software such as Unifier, P6, Aconex, OPPM and Oracle Primavera Cloud (formerly Prime) that encompasses resource allocation, cost reduction, supply-chain efficiency, and decision-making―using real-time data, for the enterprise market.

The Functional Consultant will be involved in requirement gathering, estimation, design, implementation, process playback, deployment, maintenance and documentation of Unifier, P6 and Oracle Primavera cloud solutions.

This responsibility includes interacting with clients/internal stake holders at all levels to understand the business requirements to conclude the blueprint, configuration, testing, migration, support and continuous enhancements of the proposed solution.

The position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience:

  • 7+ years of customer facing or consulting experience.

  • 7+ years of overall experience in relevant functional skills mentioned in the Job Skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.

  • Enterprise Software implementation experience working for a software company.

  • Thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle

  • Previous systems (integration) experience with Oracle Products and other systems.

  • Excellent communication & coaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with all customers, Oracle internal teams and Partners for implementation of bug free solutions.

  2. Design, Develop and test the assigned solution.

  3. Contribute to configuration reusability and knowledge management

  4. Effective communication and excellent demonstrable knowledge of Oracle Primavera products.

  5. Take ownership of assigned projects and pre-sales opportunities and drive them to closure.

  6. Refine and improve the blended delivery processes

  7. Participate in Organizational initiatives related improvement of services from Oracle Construction and Engineering Global business unit.

  8. Report and collaborate with all related stakeholders

  9. Ability to work independently and with the team to ensure quality deliverables on the project

Responsibilities

Job Skills:

  • 7+ years of "hands-on" experience with the Oracle Primavera Unifier with drive Functional role with at least 2 full implementations.

  • Should have knowledge on Cost Controls, Schedule Management, Business Process Management and Document management modules of Unifier

  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 will be beneficial.

  • Should have deep knowledge of “U-Designer” functionality.

  • Experience in design and develop Business Processes with Workflow, Reports and Dashboards.

  • Candidates must have experience in Cost Management, EVM, Contract, Cash flow, Drawing, Inspection & Quality, Risk, Claim, Payment Application, User Administrator Management, and modules.

  • Should have knowledge to transfer the design bundles through “Configuration Package”.

  • Work closely with key project and business users to understand requirements and resolve issues around existing processes.

  • Work with team to design and test enhancements to Primavera Unifier, primarily in developing Additional UDR and Custom reports with basic SQL query.

  • Should have knowledge to conduct requirement gathering, Business Blueprint meeting, UAT Meeting and conduct training on the Primavera P6 EPPM, Primavera Unifier and Primavera Analytics Implemented Modules.

  • Create appropriate user guides and other training materials, conduct new user, 'refresher' training and advance training courses.
