Job Description

An investment management firm is looking for a senior, Lead Developer who will work within the Investment Management Sales Technology team which drives development and maintenance of the Sales and Distribution technology platform. This candidate will be directly supporting the Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Applications.

Day to Day:

Candidate will be managing building and mentoring a team.

80-90% of the role will be hands-on development

10%-20% of the role will be providing guidance and advice and serving as liaison with all appropriate business users

Managing effective system and user testing

Development and ongoing support of the database objects, stored procedures

Capable of successfully leading significant business concerns and issues on salesforce and marketing cloud projects

Overseeing project risk/issues and developing solutions.

Develop required corporate relationships and Executive engagement to support success

Candidate should be able to work independently with minimal direction work within a team setting to meet target dates

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related areas of study.

    * 8+ years of experience leading, developing, and implementing Enterprise Applications using full stack technologies such as either Java, C, .NET, JavaScript, HTML

    * Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL and SOQL.

• Strong ability to write Java Code from scratch

• Extensive experience writing SQL syntax

    * Experience in Technical Design, Clean code, pair programming.

    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to both business and IT staff as required

Strong organizational, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Nice to have hands-on knowledge on Salesforce Platform, Marketing Cloud

Nice to have experience with Apex, AMPScript

Experience with Agile framework and working as part of an Agile team Expertise SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

Demonstrated experience interfacing with senior level management and business stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. null
