We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join our team based in Bradenton, Florida. This role is crucial to our operations, where you will be leading a team of payroll technicians, overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is in the telecom provider industry and offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of payroll technicians, ensuring efficient and accurate payroll processing

• Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, verification, and distribution

• Generate comprehensive reports for workers' compensation, overtime, and other relevant payroll metrics

• Provide audit support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

• Collaborate on tax reporting, reconciliations, and filings, including SUTA Taxes, Federal Unemployment Tax Act (FUTA), and State Unemployment Tax Act (SUTA)

• Maintain a thorough understanding of Form 941 and other federal tax obligations

• Demonstrate proficiency in handling multi-state payroll, navigating complexities associated with varying state regulations

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal tax laws and regulations, ensuring accurate tax calculations and compliance

• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites to carry out payroll functions

• Reconcile payroll and manage special payroll deductions.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a payroll supervisory, managerial, or directorial role

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites

• Demonstrable experience in Accounting Functions

• Knowledge and understanding of Federal Tax

• Ability to Reconcile Payroll

• Experience in Full Cycle Payroll

• Familiarity with Payroll Law

• Proficiency in Payroll Functions

• Experience in Payroll Management

• Knowledge of Payroll Tax Deposits

• Understanding of Special Payroll Deductions
