Immediate Opening: Fiberglass Finisher

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315, Monday – Friday

Employment Type: Direct Hire

All positions are indoors, under AC, full-time, Monday through Friday, 1st Shift.

Fiberglass Finisher Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of the fiberglass finishing process for Dayton-Granger's parts, including sanding, buffing and masking products.

• Buffing or polishing any imperfection on units to meet our workmanship and industry standards for parts finishing.

• Touch-up painted surfaces prior to presentation to quality inspection.

• Completes production orders and related tasks on time and to the customer's specification.

• Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Must have working experience with all areas related to the fiberglass finishing processes- sanding, filling, and priming, preferably in the marine or auto body industry.

• Experience using an airpower sander.

• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and written instructions.

• Physical Demands: Using various hand and air tools, lifting up to 25 pounds.

• Visual abilities: Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus.
