Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Renovations Category Sales Specialist. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!

This is a remote role that will support the  Houston/East Texas and Louisiana region. Our ideal candidate must be in the Central time zone, preferably within easy commuting distance of locations in Houston Metro

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts.

  • Onsite job walks to qualify and quantify sales opportunities to build scope and budget ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services at all times

  • Onsite sales liaison throughout the sales cycle with the onsite customer PM, Ferguson PM’S and BDM’S

  • Monitor sales trends and product performance results

  • Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge

  • Train Outside sales and customers to measure door and drawer fronts and full box cabinets

  • Work with other branch personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond

Qualifications:

A successful associate will be goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere, in addition to having the following:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required

  • Desire to learn new things

  • The ability to thrive in an inclusive environment

Pay Range:

$3,780.00 - $8,181.80

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
