We are looking for a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our clients team located in Marlton, New Jersey. The employment opportunity is a short-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify medical billing data in a timely and accurate manner

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Epic Software to manage and organize billing information

• Maintain accurate customer credit records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and easily accessible

• Resolve customer credit inquiries, providing clear and concise information to address any concerns or issues

• Monitor customer credit accounts, taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments when necessary

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the medical billing process

• Collaborate with team members to optimize billing procedures and improve efficiency

• Communicate with healthcare providers and patients to clarify any discrepancies or missing information in billing data

• Stay updated on current best practices, regulations, and trends in medical billing.

Requirements • Proven experience in medical billing required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Experience with Epic Software is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information

• Knowledge of medical coding and insurance processes would be advantageous

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in medical administration is a plus
