Cognizant Technology Solutions Legal Technical Writer in Mill Creek, Washington

The Mapping Data Analyst is a domain expert in data mining and analysis, and dashboard or report generation dedicated to improving operational efficiency, accuracy and consistency. The Technical Writer will write workflow documents and presentations to meet the need of our partners. Qualifications and Experience 3-5+ years of experience in Technical writing/similar functions Minimum Qualification - Graduation (preferably BE /B Tech ) Strong command of spoken and written English language, grammar and advanced editorial skills Excellent written, communication and research skills and a strong attention to detail as demonstrated through writing samples Ability to independently scope out and prioritize multiple projects Be able to understand different processes and differentiate between them Working knowledge of G Suite Proven ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality, technically-accurate, concise and detailed content, with attention to detail Responsibilities Write high-quality, user-friendly workflow documents and presentations that meet the needs of the target audience: operators, policy, training and engineering teams. Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements Liaise with SMEs, trainers and clients to gather all the policy related inputs and create/put them in a properly structured document. Establish an understand of the process and tools used to be in a position to translate the requirements clearly into a workflow document/presentation Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation Convert text into drawings, diagrams, and charts to increase users' understanding as applicable Participate and contribute to documentation development activities from estimation, planning, scheduling through publishing Analyze existing and new content, focusing on opportunities for enhancing user experience and readability Ability to work through requests for edit and creation of documents on high priority Edit and proof-read documents written by SMEs Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is $100,000-$105,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
