What will you do?

As our inside sales representative in electrical services, you will be in charge to analyse and quote small project with opportunity to participate in bigger projects. You will have a high degree of autonomy to negotiate, analyse, provide technical quote estimation, and book the jobs. You will work in close partnership with our Electrical Services Operations Manager .

You will cover the Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto branches.

The position is also open to New graduates with an electrical degree (CEGEP, DEP or University) who have a strong interest in sales & estimation field.

• Electrical Service Quotation Specialist will utilize technical knowledge to prepare quotation packages based on the product and service content.

• Provide bill of material preparation for some large, complex projects with guidance of a Senior or Staff Specialist.

• Interpret customer requirements and match products to customer specifications/drawings.

• Collaborate with the Sales reps to ensure the quote is technically compatible, competitive, and clarify that all requirements of the project are met.

• Understand the Sales strategy for the quotation opportunity to ensure quality output.

• Understand and analyze documents and communicates contractual, technical, and commercial terms and has a working understanding of bid strategies and market conditions.

• This individual will hand-off a quotation package with comments on exceptions and built-in value for use by the Sales reps in customer presentation. While continuing to collaborate during the process as needed to ensure proper order conversion.

• Embrace and fully utilize new tools and technology to improve efficiency.

What will you need to succeed?

• Electrical Technical degree.

• 0 to 5 years of experience in sales, estimation and/or electrical services

• Sales experience is a very strong asset.

• Quotation experience in the Electrical Industry, strong asset

• Knowledgeable on the following products:

• Low Voltage Equipment including: Low Voltage Draw-out Switchgear, Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, Pad Mount Transformers, Dry Type Transformers, simple Drives.

• Medium Voltage Equipment.

• Understand and have the ability to apply equipment standards and local Codes.

• Understanding of competitor products.

• Fully bilingual (French & English) written and spoken as you will support Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto region.

• Self-motivated team player with good time management, verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to effectively utilize company software programs/collaborative tools and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
