Our team is looking for an ambitious individual, who is eager to learn many aspects of

marketing, while supporting a strong team of 11 industry-leading commercial door hardware

brands of the ASSA ABLOY Group. This great career opportunity offers experience and future

This paid internship offers flexible hours ranging from part-time to full-time, minimum 20 hours up to 40 hours per week, and requires work on-site in our New Haven, CT, office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create & Distribute Communications:

  • Coordinate with multiple brands to send internal/external email communications like newsletters and business announcements.

  • Digital Asset Management:

  • Manage various asset files (brochures, catalogs, images, etc.) in the digital asset management (DAM) system.

  • Upload new assets, update current assets, and utilize files across platforms such as websites, emails, presentations, and collateral.

  • Documentation & Imagery:

  • Update various documents and imagery either via graphic design program or through graphic design vendor.

  • Social Media:

  • Assist in content creation and publishing for the LinkedIn and Facebook social media accounts for multiple brands.

  • Customer Portal & Intranet Management:

  • Post news and essential information on the customer portal and intranet sites for the sales team and customers.

  • Website Updates:

  • Assist in updating internal WordPress site and possibly public brand sites on Adobe Experience Manager

  • Event Logistics:

  • Assist in managing shipping logistics for promotional items, displays, and materials related to events, product launches, and marketing campaigns.

  • Accounts Payable & Administrative Support:

  • Set up new vendors within the Accounts Payable system.

  • Write-up, submit, and track product sample requests as needed.

  • Assist with various administrative duties as assigned.

    Educational Requirements, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Graduated or working towards a BS degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Journalism, Business Management, or related discipline is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Experience in Adobe Experience Manager, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva and/or similar software packages is a plus.

  • Experience in LinkedIn, Facebook, and/or social scheduling platforms, such as Lumly or Hootsuite
