Join our team at Cengage as a Subscription Renewal Specialist and play a key role in driving innovation that helps millions of learners improve their lives and achieve their dreams through education. As a Subscription Renewal Specialist, you will have the opportunity to create meaningful relationships with existing customers, maintain strong connections, and successfully implement renewal strategies.

What you'll do here:

• Create and nurture relationships with existing customers through phone calls and discovery regarding needs

• Communicate with renewal customers during budget reviews and manage renewal status

• Identify accounts that may not renew and collaborate with Education Sales Consultants and District Managers

• Assist Sales Consultants in promoting additional products

• Provide customers with sales quotes and online product demonstrations

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Skills you will need here:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• At least 1 year of inside sales experience

• Experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers

• Assertive, proactive, creative approach to building relationships

• Time and territory management skills

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities

Preferred qualifications:

• 3+ years of inside or field sales experience

• Experience selling to the education market

• Proficiency in using contact management systems, Salesforce.com preferred

• Demonstrated record of meeting/exceeding sales goals

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
