Job Overview:

TheHome FriendCoordinatoris responsible for assistingthe manager with maintaining daily functions of the Home Friend program.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma required

• Two year experience working with older adults and disabled

Preferred:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills

• Extensive computer skills

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift working: 8:30am-4:30pm

Essential Functions:

• Perform in home assessments to older adults and disabled

• Dispatch home friend workers into the homes of clients

• Prepare data for monthly reports to be delivered to the Essex County Division of Senior Services

• Assist manager with home friend staff

• Perform in home light chore services when home friend worker is not available to service their clients

• Assist manager with Volunteer Services as needed
