Actalent Electrical Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description:

Actalent is partnering with a top employer in the Philadelphia area that specializes in MEP/FP and technology services engineering and construction / commissioning support for buildings, sustainable design, and central heating and chiller plants. We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute electrical designs for different phases of the project including schematic design, design development and construction documents

  • Utilize Revit to model electrical system components and systems in accordance

  • Work with laying out electrical gear and spaces, sizing branch circuits, laying out devices, lighting layout and circuitry including lighting controls in accordance with the energy codes.

  • Construction Administration activities including submittal reviews, RFI responses and Shop Drawing reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • EIT certification at a minimum

  • 7+ Years of experience in building engineering handling electrical

  • Revit BIM software proficiency

  • SKM experience or equivalent analysis software for short circuit, coordination or Arc Flash Analysis.
