Position Overview:

For our The Coca-Cola Global Delivery Center in Sofia, we are looking for a Data Engineer to deliver data and analytics technological solutions that drive business growth and productivity.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for development of scalable, globally distributed, robust, and secure products and tools related to data processing, reporting and advanced analytics. You will work in a network of data engineering experts from all over the world, following enterprise standards and industry practices. You will be supported and expected to learn constantly new technologies, to improve your skills and constantly track the latest industry achievements. You will be expected to act as an owner and ensure achieving the goals.

What You'll Do for Us:

• Understands the business context of tasks and ensures that their development is meeting the quality standards set by the company - performance and information security.

• Implements the agreed design following the software development life cycle principles of typical end-to-end Data & Analytics solution including ETL, data processing, data modeling, visualization in form of reports and dashboard, security and creation of interfaces to other systems.

• Performs maintenance, tuning, testing, troubleshooting and support including delivery of technical documentation and training following DevOps principles.

• Participates actively in improvement of the existing systems and their integration it the company's environment.

• Collaborates with the other functions and teams. Builds a shared understanding of the solution with the capacity for communicating that vision though technical materials, verbal presentations, and facilitating inter-team discussion.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree Required, BSc/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant field

• 1+ years proven experience as a developer

• Experience with DBMS (database management systems)

• Previous experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) is considered a plus.

• Experience (or readiness quickly to learn) the specifics of Cloud development and particularly with Azure services for Data Analytics.

• Experience with data processing and reporting (preferable Microsoft Power BI)

• Proven abilities to take initiative, to act as an owner and be innovative

• Fast learner with analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

• Development languages:

• Required experience with SQL

• Experience with Python or Scala
