METROLOGIST

Description:

Duties Include:

● Provides the necessary quality inspection skills to support the Company in achieving

optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery to assure internal and

external customer success.

● Develops, qualifies, and maintains CMM programs

● Operates CMM’s for First Piece Inspection and Production Approval

● Reads drawings to determine specifications and tolerances for a variety components

● Ensures that containment activities take place when discrepancies are identified

● Review and refine data collection requirements according to customer drawings, and

PPAP requirements

● Participates in the corrective action and preventive action processes

● Participates in Gage R & R Studies

● Utilizes a wide variety of inspection tools to complete dimensional reports

● The employee may occasionally lift up-to 50 pounds
