As Enterprise Infrastructure Manager Sr of End User Computing, within PNC’s Office of the CTO organization, you will spearhead our efforts to optimize technology, hardware, software, and tools for all users. This pivotal role demands a blend of technical proficiency, visionary leadership, and strategic acumen to enhance operational efficiencies and drive technological innovation. This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH or Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

PNC is seeking an experienced senior leader responsible for the engineering, daily management, and operations of all end user computing technology, inclusive of software, deployment technologies, and peripheral equipment. Responsibilities also include the design, architecture and management of the end user computing platform, developing, and maintaining technology standards based on industry best practices, managing a technology roadmap, and proposing and developing new solutions based on business strategy. The manager will work with the broader IT and business organization to deliver solutions, serve as a subject matter expert in end user computing technology, manage governance and compliance to the standards, and drive focus on delivering an excellent customer experience. The manager's organizational duties will include hiring of personnel, managing resource demand and capacity, staff performance management and talent development.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive EUC strategy aligned with PNC’s business goals and industry best practices.

• Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure services are integrated seamlessly.

• Proactively seek and communicate opportunities for improvement in engineering, operational, and customer satisfaction aspects of the end user computing functions.

• Identify technologies which will improve customer satisfaction, reduce cost and/or improve efficiency.

• Establish metrics to measure efficient use of existing systems and resources.

• Activity Monitor team performance to ensure service levels and expectations are being met.

• Develop, manage, and optimize budgets for end user computing initiatives including capital investments, operational expenses, and staffing requirements in accordance with financial guidelines and organizational priorities.

• Prepare regular reports, forecasts and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate progress, achievements and challenges related to End user services.

• Infrastructure Technology thought leadership - ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, products then build road maps and make technology recommendations.

Required Skills:

• Experience with regulatory compliance issues management including knowledge of best practices in application and network security.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Solid oral and written communication skills, including hands-on ability with MS Office products

• Comprehensive experience in analyzing complex functions, procedures, and problems to find creative, logical and appropriate solutions required.

• Comprehensive understanding of PC hardware, software, operating systems, virtual desktop infrastructure, software distribution systems, device management technology, directory services, and printing services is required.

• Experience in hardware and software design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting required.

• Experience in on premise, cloud-based, corporate owned, and bring your own end user computing technologies.

Job Description

  • Delivers products/services in alignment with business needs and objectives. Responsible for multiple teams or departments within the Enterprise Infrastructure function.

  • Leads infrastructure planning, development strategies/initiatives and product lifecycle/service orientation; determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs. Oversees portfolio/program/project management responsibilities. Directs financial management and risk management capabilities.

  • Leads stable and secure environment, incident management, product health/patching, and the asset management lifecycle. Communicates with vendors, suppliers and executive management to ensure availability of infrastructure technologies and support.

  • Designs best practices for technology architecture and management.

  • Directs, motivates, develops and oversees the performance of the management team and key staff.

Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
